Today is the definition of a long day.

I seriously feel like I have already been here for 8 hours and it's only 12:34. I don't know what I am going to do with myself, this day seems never ending.

I've been waking up at 4 a.m. these past couple of mornings. And when I say "wake up" I mean open my eyes and just lay there for the next 3 hours and listen to Darrell breath heavily and snore in my ear. (Stella joined in on the snoring action this morning and also took up majority of the bed.) Lately he's been throwing elbows when he turns over and I'm afraid he's going to catch me in the nose with one of them. This morning I was Facebooking at 5 a.m. and he woke up. We had a conversation about a dream he had had and then he went back to sleep and I laid there until 6:30. My alarm started going off at 6 and I'm not sure why but I kept hitting snooze until 6:30, like it was interrupting some good quality sleep or something.

The house is moving right along. I never thought I would be so excited about sinks, faucets and toilets but yesterday I was. The water was turned on today so tonight I will go around testing everything out. We still have the flooring to deal with. Darrell thinks we should do hardwood in the master, but I'm thinking carpet. The carpet lady is in Peru, of all places, until Thursday so I can't line anything up with her until Monday. But hopefully, whatever we decide to do can be done early next week and we can get the inspection and appraisal done before the weekend. AND THEN, we could move in. We are currently in debate over the refrigerator we bought. It sticks out of the hole its supposed to go in. So we are trying to figure out if we should buy the counter depth version and lose some cubic feet, have the cabinet built out around it or do nothing at all. Our conversations on this topic sounds similar to the one about the sinks.
