What's the wold coming to?

The guy on the stretcher was approached yesterday while working at King Brothers Trading Post by a stranger walking down the road and the stranger asked for a cigarette. The guy said no and told the man to get a job and get his own cigarettes. The random street walker left and then returned minutes later with a shot gun and shot this guy in the back. He shot him in the back with a shotgun over a cigarette. Seriously? He must have been having a really bad day.
