My Bag? a no-name brand that was a Christmas gift from my grandmother. She has good taste doesn't she? I like it because I can carry it with the short strap on the shoulder or with the long strap across my chest. Convenience is key.
a summary of the contents = CRAP.
1. an umbrella. you never know when you might get caught in an unexpected shower.
2. cosmetic bag. we'll get to the few things I carry in that later.
3. a wallet full of receipts that need to be e-mailed to my accountant/husband.
4. 1 ponytail holder and 1 bobby pin. Hope I never need more than 1 of each.
5. a random empty green envelope. you know, just in case I ever need a green envelope.
6. a stray Hobby Lobby receipt.
7. an envelope full of short term disability information. Did you know pregnancy/maternity leave is covered under STDI? Well it is. But if you're thinking of having a baby then you should probably know that your policy needs to be active a few months before you actually get knocked up because you won't be eligible for benefits unless you give birth after having the policy in effect for 9 months.
8. The yellow pages are check in/ discharge papers from the kidney stone hospital stay and the pink one my doctor gave me on Friday. Its a list of things that indicate your in labor and who to call. Hoping that will come into play SOON!!!
9. a random old dresser drawer handle. What? I thought everyone carried one of these things around. Oh, You don't? That's just nuts. You don't know what your missing.
2. an empty pill case left over from 1st trimester nausea meds
3. 2 things of lip gloss that I rarely wear
4. 1 burts bees
5. an extra bobby pin just in case the 1st one fails me.
ok, this is out of the small front pocket...
1. pay stubs
2. more stray receipts
3. what looks like the beginnings of a shopping list
4. 3 cents because I'm rich
5. my Berry Berry Good Yogurt frequent visitor card - from my 1 visit there. There are 2 stamps becasue I bought moms as well.
6. 1 pen for pay days when I become that girl in the bank drive-thru who doesn't have her crap together. Yes, I'm that girls and I'm not ashamed.
7. 2 more bobby pins. They are like 2nd alternates. Just in case I need one and the previously mentioned 2 aren't in their correct spots, I'll then move on to these.

9. mentos gum = amazing
10. target gift card! Gotta love a gift card!!! Free money!
11. APs bedding swatches from when I was trying to pick out the fabric for the glider
12. my phone - no, I'm not cool enough to have an iphone
13. a reminder card for Stella's grooming appt. that needed to be changed
14. my keys - with the attached library card, which I've used only once.
(yes, the pictures were taken in my cube. I'm obviously very important at my job and very busy. You know how it is at the top of the corporate ladder.)
