PRAY!! NOW!!!

Please pray for The Dykmans! Ashley is currently at the hospital at 35 1/2 weeks in pre-term labor and they will perform a C-section sometime soon today. Please pray that Sawyer's lungs are developed enough for the neonatal team to focus on his kidneys! Her friend Jamie is going to be updating their blog as she gets information so you can keep track by going to the link above. Please pray for this sweet family during this uncertain time!!!

If you haven't read my previous posts about Baby Sawyer, here is a little background info that I took from Ashley's blog...

"Baby Sawyer has a bladder outlet obstruction. At 17 weeks a sonogram found his enlarged bladder. The obstruction would not let urine out. The urine had backed up into the kidneys and damaged one. I had 3 bladder taps and one fetal surgery done to put a shunt into his bladder. Both of his kidneys have now failed due to the back up of urine. His lungs will probably be underdeveloped as well due to the lack of amniotic fluid during pregnancy."
