Picture Update - February 2010

Snow Day 2010. Haley has a picture of front of the house which is really pretty so I'll have to get a copy of that and add it later. But this is the backyard. The woods across the street looked really really pretty!

Darrell had to go into work that day. So when he finally came home we were able to go out and play for a little while. It wasn't nearly as exciting as I thought it was going to beand didn't last very long.

We would throw a snowball for Stella to chase...

but once it disappeared into the snow she really didn't know what she was looking for.

Family photo...or not.

We are so photogenic. When Darrell smiles it looks so painful.
More like he's growling, than smiling.

This ones not any better but it's all we have.

At least one member of our family has some photogenic qualities.

Here's where the randomness of the pictures begin. And I'm only posting these to make a very serious point. Review them and I'll explain later.

The above pictures are worthless, right? Well Darrell likes to take random, non useful pictures. All. the. time. He hates the fact that I like to take pictures, calls me and Haley Japanese tourist because we like taking pictures so much, pictures of quality, of meaning, that mark special occasions, but he loves taking random pictures like those above. I don't get it.

This next one is long overdue. You may remember way the heck back when, I posted about a little dramatic make over to some chairs my aunt found at an antique store. Well, they are finally complete. I take that back, they are almost complete. The seats still need to be permanently attached to the chair. I'll probably get around to that in another 6 months or so.

Ok, moving on to pregnancy news. If you are viewing this you better enjoy it because I'm posting it against Darrell's wishes. He thinks its weird for you to be looking at my belly. He says it's private. So he'll probably request that it's taken off of here withing minutes of him reading this. So enjoy it while it last. This was taken on the February 12th. Which means I was 19 weeks.

Here's a little pre-getting knocked up advice. If you think you need to lose weight before you get pregnant, you totally should. Otherwise you end up looking like this at 19 weeks. Pretty sure your not supposed to look like this at 19 weeks during your first pregnancy. Just saying.
So anyway, this week I am 22 weeks. I went to the doctor yesterday. AP was moving around so it was hard to hear the heartbeat bc every time she'd be still and they'd find it, she would move. She's apparently impatient like her father. She finally settled down enough for them to get the heart rate which varied from the upper 150s to 160. Everything is said to be normal except for the possibility of me having a 2nd bladder infection. so exciting.
In other very exciting pregnancy news, (note: I'm being very sarcastic here) I have my Glucose test on March 31st. I've heard about this stuff and I am not looking forward to it one teeny tiny bit. Although I will say that I was very surprised because I thought they were going to bring out a gallon jug of the crap but then she brought out this cute little bottle that looked like a Sunkist in disguise...

So, the next time we chat it will probably be the end of the month when I come back to tell you how terrible this stuff really is. Until then...

P.S. The orange stuff isn't too bad. It's SUPER sweet.

Saranne! Your belly is so cute! You need to do a plaster mold of it and hang it in her room! I can't believe you got that much snow at your/our house! Where did you end up putting the christmas tree?
