Day 2 - Catching Up

Folding laundry when AP is around has become quite the chore. If she is not flipping herself over in the laundry basket, she is picking up what clothes I've folded and running off with them. She likes to test me to see how far she can go before I get on to her. She will stand by them and look back and forth between the clothes and me. Then she will place her hand on them, slowly grab them, then yank them off the ottoman really quick, and wave them around before throwing them down on the ground and running off. What a stinker!

Her vocabulary is growing. Yesterday she said, "hey Levi" just as plain as day and Love You sounds a little like "Lu Lo" but it works. She can say Mamaw, Papaw, Papa, MeMe and Poppy and identify all of them either in person or in pictures. She is still having a little trouble with Gamma, so much so that Gamma has given thought to going by LaLa because AP can already say that!!! I'm trying to teach her ridiculous words such as "Howdy" and "Hey boo." Howdy seems to be a little more difficult than I thought but Hey boo is coming right along. It's pretty funny!

AP has 6 teeth now. 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. They make brushing her teeth pretty painful which she finds funny. Her toothbrush is one that just slips over my finger and every night without fail she clamps down on it! The minute I scream she cracks up!! I might end up losing a finger but at least she won't have silver caps at the age of 2!!
