We made it! 20 weeks! phew, it feels like its taken us forever to get here and it feels like it's going to take another forever to make it the next 20 weeks as well! Here are a few things that are going on with Miss AP...
She is now 11 oz. and 7 in. long, which is the size of a cantelope. She can recognize my voice as well as familiar sounds such as music and noises from outside the womb, like her daddy, Stella's barking, Kings of Leon, Lady Antebellum, and that 10,000 firefly's song we love so much. She's been tossing a round like crazy and from the intensity of her kicks and punches I can tell she's getting stronger every day. All looked well during the sonogram on Feb. 3rd. We go back on March 3rd for another monthly check up and can have the 4D sonogram around our 28 week mark, which is sometime in mid April.
I'm currently trying to pick out fabric for her bedding and her Gamma is about to get started painting and antiquing her furniture. I'm looking for a club chair style glider and ottoman to go in the nursery, so if you know of any moms who are looking to get rid of theirs please let me know. I made my first purchases for AP yesterday. And by first purchases I mean something other than diapers. I didn't want to buy anything early on just to be on the safe side in case something went wrong, and then as we progressed I didn't want to buy anything until we found out the gender, so when Darrell gave me a Baby Gap gift card for AP and Gap gift card to get me some maternity clothes for Valentine's Day, I figured it was time. All the little girl clothes were so cute that I turned into a maniac and spent not only AP's gift card but my gift card as well on some cute little items for her to sport around this summer!! Our bank account is going to be in serious trouble once her little butt arrives!!
I have some pictures of snow and my first ever belly photo (WOW, It's huge!) that I'll post later on in the week! Hope all is well with you!
