Clear, Blue, NOT so Easy..

I have a friend, who we will call Z., that recently found out she was pregnant. NO, you don't know her so calm down! And no, it isn't me, so take a breather! Anyhow, so Z. was having some issues with Mother Nature's monthly gift and hadn't received one for near or about 42 days. During this time she collected around 5 boxes worth of pee sticks, all of which indicated that her eggo was not prego. So she called her doctor. The lovely receptionist made her the first available appt. for "infertility" 3 weeks later.( i believe that is way way way to long to sit and ponder your infertility and would have freaked out!) On the day of the appt. as she is in the office with her doctor discussing the options for jump starting aunt flow, the doctor notices the reason for her missing punctuation mark is clearly indicated in her chart, she's freaking PREGNANT!!! SURPRISE!!! So, Z. freaks out and demands a repeat test just to be sure! How could 5 boxes of HPTs say negative and 1 doctors test prove positive???? Sure enough #2 came back with the same positive results and in 9 months she's gonna have her own little bundle of joy! She certainly didn't see that one coming!

So, the moral of the story is:
Just because you buy the most expensive home pregnancy test there is, it doesn't mean that the results will always be correct! If your suspicious call your doctor immediately or you could go in as infertile and walk out pregnant like little Z. did.
