Haley and I participated in our first 5k on January 29th. We aren't runners (yet) so we walked majority of it. We did run a little bit, so that's progress. There were over 600 participants and we had to pick up our packets that morning so we got there really early so we didn't have to wait in line and ended up spending a lot of time in the car trying to stay warm while we waited for things to get started.
We are participating in another one tomorrow for Blair E. Batson in honor of Sawyer Dykman. You should join us if you have the time! It really is fun and this one is for a very good cause. This next picture is of a typical visit with the in-laws. Stan has Champ, Patti has Stella and Darrell has AP. Everybody has their baby.
We went to Joe's Diner for a little family breakfast last Saturday morning. Sweet Cheeks, relaxed, read the paper and did a little people watching. She looks half asleep but the picture was taken mid blink.
She chills out in her high chair anytime I'm getting dressed. On this day, she was playing with Darrell's hat and was still enough (besides that hand, it never stops twirling) for me to get a few pictures.
Gamma bought her some sun shades and surprisingly she's not phased by them.
this kid loves the remote. loves it so much that if I'm watching something I have to take the batteries out for her to play with it because she will inevitably change the channel on me.
This is not our outfit. She apparently had a few accidents at school on Wednesday so they gave her a loaner outfit and it barely fit her.
